Feet Retreat sadly got canceled this year, so First Saturday Contra and Triangle Country Dancers got together to throw a party for us.

The Talent
Charlotte Crittenden
Delightful, funny, and full of joy, the inimitable Charlotte will be calling most of our sessions.
Contrazz
Combining the improvisational style,
swing and solos of a jazz band with a repertoire of contra dance music, Contrazz is a high-energy ensemble known for its driving rhythms and hot music.
A band with a serious groove, this ensemble
of highly skilled players includes Aaron Hill on saxophone and flute,
David DiGiuseppe on accordion, Bernie Petteway on guitar and bass, Diane Petteway on piano and Ed Butler on drums.
Playing With Fyre
With David DiGiuseppe on accordion, Rob Zisette on fiddle, George Paul on piano, and Steve Kemble on percussion, this band is just as hot as the name suggests.

The Covid Policy
Masks & Vax.
By all accounts the dance weekends that the ones that required masks had the least rates of COVID-19 transmission. Therefore we are requiring that masks be worn properly at all times, unless actively eating or drinking, and proof of vaccine is required at the door.
